No Such Thing as a Noisy Void
I have received feedback from two people (re: "But Good Gin") who have inspired me to reframe my call for comments. One individual likes the "Comments (0), screaming into the void" aesthetic of the page. Another blogger said people don't tend to comment conversationally. I'm new to this stuff, but the 'Net sure seems like an isolating, liberal-individualistic forum in a lot of ways. Well, duh, right?
So just to restate: I do not actually rely on feedback to know that I exist (that was a wee joke), but my naive hope in starting a blog was and continues to be that people might make *creative comments*. Some of my readers are poets, some are activists, but generally you are people capable of having fun with language. So be shameless and reactionary if you feel like it. If not, I'll just continue to deal with Western monologic culture, both in content and form. Who says irony is dead?
